Magnifique et imposant plateau en métal argenté de l’orfèvre Charles Christofle. 
Ce plateau de la fin du XIXeme  début XXeme à pour décor un fond guilloché entouré de frises à la grecque, sur le pourtour une frise de rang de perles . Les anses à décor de rubans croisés. 
Au centre un joli monogramme je vois JP mais sans certitude.

Une très belle pièce que l’on ne croise pas souvent .
Bon état , quelques usures du temps micro rayures, une belle argenture le passage chez le polisseur lui à rendu son éclat d’antan.
Au revers la marque Christofle et le poinçon d’orfèvre CC  pour Charles Christofle qui permet de le dater entre 1860 et 1930.

Magnificent and imposing silver metal tray by goldsmith Charles Christofle.
This tray from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century is decorated with a guilloche background surrounded by Greek friezes, on the perimeter a frieze of row of pearls. The handles decorated with crossed ribbons.
In the center a nice monogram I see JP but without certainty.

A very beautiful piece that we don't often come across.
Good condition, some wear of time micro scratches, a beautiful silver the passage to the polisher gave it back its former brilliance.
On the reverse the Christofle brand and the CC goldsmith stamp for Charles Christofle which allows it to be dated between 1860 and 1930.
